Big Top’s large military tents can be built to nearly any size, ranging up to 174 feet wide and 80 feet high. Because they don’t rely on any interior support poles or guy-wires, our buildings have spacious, unobstructed interiors that are easy to maneuver around in. As a result, our structures are adaptable and can be used for many different applications. Our large military tents are utilized as warehouses and storage buildings, large-area maintenance shelters (LAMS), aircraft hangars and sunshades, mess halls, barracks, vehicle inspection checkpoints, guard shacks, soft wall expeditionary shelters, and more.

Our large military tents feature a fabric cover that is formulated to repel 99.95% of UV-A and UV-B radiation. This outstanding thermal performance helps maximize the lifespan of equipment electronics and paint jobs, and keeps personnel comfortable throughout the day as they go about their duties. In fact, our military tents are naturally climate controlled as the fabric cover helps to maintain a comfortable interior temperature that is, on average, 15 degrees cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than the outside temperature. They can be disassembled, relocated, and reassembled as needed. This makes them an ideal solution for Agile Combat Employment (ACE) applications, as well as for use as hangars and sunshades. In fact, our large military tents are approved by the USACE as being compliant with U.S. Air Force Sunshade Management (AFSM), Air Force Instruction (AFI), and International Building Code (IBC), and they’re Berry Amendment compliant.
