Tension fabric buildings provide an unmatched level of versatility for construction companies. They are easily modified to accommodate different heights, widths, lengths, and colors, allowing for flexibility to meet any project requirements. Tension fabric structures can also be relocated or expanded when the need arises, so that the same structure can serve multiple purposes throughout its life. These structures are also durable enough to withstand long-term use in any environment, from extreme temperatures to intense weather conditions. With the ability to combine interior and exterior components, such as windows, doors, and insulation, tension fabric buildings can provide a wide range of options for any construction project. Whether it’s a warehouse, a distribution center, or a commercial building, tension fabric structures can provide the flexibility to suit almost any application.

Improved aesthetics

Tension fabric buildings are becoming increasingly popular for a variety of construction projects due to their improved aesthetics. Fabric buildings offer a sleek, modern look with a variety of design options and colors that can be easily customized to match your project’s needs. They also provide superior insulation and protection from the elements, ensuring that your building looks great for years to come.

The low profile of tension fabric buildings gives them an unobtrusive appearance, and their lightweight structure means that you won’t need to worry about heavy concrete foundations or extensive excavation. Additionally, their simple assembly allows them to be constructed quickly, meaning that you can get started on your project without significant delays.
Tension fabric buildings also provide the flexibility to expand in the future if needed. This makes them an ideal choice for growing businesses who may need additional space down the line, as they can easily add on to their existing structure rather than having to demolish and start from scratch.

Overall, tension fabric buildings offer improved aesthetics that can give your construction project an up-to-date, modern look that will make it stand out in the neighborhood. With their easy assembly, flexibility, and long-term durability, these types of buildings are clearly an ideal solution for many types of construction projects.

What’s the ROI of a Tension Fabric Building?

Many clients ask what the Return on Investment (ROI) of their tension fabric building will be, or how much money they will save by purchasing a tension fabric building over traditional construction methods such as wood framing or steel stud framing. The reality is that every situation is different, so there are many factors to consider when calculating your return on investment. Below are some tips and ideas to help you figure out what your actual ROI might be from choosing tension fabric buildings instead of more traditional construction methods.

How to Choose The Right One

How can you know what type of building will provide you with the most benefits in order to return on your investment? You need to do your research. There are many different types of buildings, and some offer more benefits than others. For example, tension fabric buildings are becoming an increasingly popular option for small business owners because they are customizable, mobile and cost-effective.

How It Can Save You Money

A tension fabric building is sustainable and easier to maintain than traditional buildings, which means that you can expect lower maintenance costs over time. It also has excellent insulation, which will save you money on heating and cooling bills. Plus, installing it is less expensive than installing a traditional building and the materials required for construction are usually less expensive. The up-front cost may be higher for some tension fabric buildings, but in most cases it more than pays off in the long run with reduced operating costs.

Where To Use Fabric Buildings

The versatility of tension fabric buildings makes them an attractive option for construction sites, as they can be erected on relatively quick. For example in natural disaster zones where traditional structures have been destroyed and rebuilding is necessary, but new building materials are difficult to come by fabric shelters are a great option.

4 Ways Fabric Structures Are Changing The Landscape Of Architecture

The future of architecture doesn’t just look futuristic; it actually feels like you’re living on the cutting edge of what’s possible to do with buildings and materials today. The reason behind this new way of thinking comes down to fabric structures, which use state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and materials to create beautiful and sustainable buildings all over the world. Here are just four ways fabric structures are changing the landscape of architecture.

1) ROI

Fabric structures are making their way into residential and commercial construction. And, from prefabricated walls to temporary modular towers, buildings built with materials like mesh and canvas can be designed for a number of different functions. The reasons for the big top fabric buildings trend comes down to cost. Less time to setup, lower cost of energy consumption, ability for workers to stay in a temperature controlled protected environment (instead of going home), makes fabric structures an effect alternative to standard brick and mortar buildings.

2) Creative shapes

A combination of natural elements and fabric building materials gives architects a lot more freedom in designing structure. Fabric buildings can be shaped into just about any shape you can imagine. Not only this, but they offer all the add-ons a traditional building would. Lights, doors, ceilings, industrial fans, outlets, and more. All while saving you costs on the alternative.

3) Environmental friendliness

Erecting a structure in less time and using fewer building materials means you’re doing right by Mother Earth. Sustainability is quickly becoming a core part of architectural philosophy, as it should be; our planet has finite resources, and architects can help conserve them by taking into account environmental impact during construction. By working with new technologies and materials that offer benefits for both designers and their environment, designers can feel good about their work. That’s one of the true key factors in the shift to fabric buildings within the world of architecture.

4) Durability

The traditional wood and steel used in building design is durable, sure, but it’s also heavy. In fact, that’s one reason why so many big buildings take so long to build—it takes a lot of manpower to lift these materials into place. Switching to lighter materials means you can save on costs by reducing labor as well as fuel.

There are many good reasons to take a further look into fabric structures. As they’re a great way to save cost all while positively impacting our environment. Fabric structures are changing the landscape of architecture and our team here at Big Top Manufacturing is proud to be helping along the way.

Big Top Manufacturing Fabric Shelters Featured in Top Gun: Maverick

In the history of feature films, there have been quite a few fascinating aircraft-based blockbuster action movies, but few have had as much character and impact on pop culture as Top Gun. A staple badass all-American movie featuring the one and only Tom Cruise. Although not a sponsor, endorsed by, or professional consultant to, we’re proud to see our Big Top Fabric Shelters featured in the film.

During production, Paramount Pictures and Tom Cruise needed big top fabric structures for shooting a plane crash scene for their highly anticipated new Top Gun movie. They partnered with a famous Hollywood prop rental company who helped them construct custom-built shelters onsite during production. One of These shelters was placed at Squaw Valley Airport in Tahoe. Big Top Manufacturing is proud to feature our 40’x 60′ Shelter as part of one of Hollywood’s biggest summer movies, in theaters now!

Why is Big Top Manufacturing Fabric Shelters the Best?

When we talk about making top-of-the-line portable and fabric structures, there is one name that stands above all others in those arenas (ask Tom Cruise). That name is Big Top Manufacturing. These are far more than just gazebos or canopies; they are life and money saving features for any individual or business where weather protection may be needed in order to keep assets safe from lightning strikes or tornado blasts. To keep workers, cool, safe, and comfortable. As well as to save on a variety of expenses including electricity.  We’re still working towards ensuring protection from missiles, but if Tom Cruise feels safe leaving his F-14 Tomcat in one of our high-end hoop structures, we know we’re doing something right.

Our Customers Are Excited and Inspired By Our Top Gun Appearance

“Like a lot of movie fans, I was surprised to hear that Tom Cruise was reprising his role as hotshot pilot Maverick in Top Gun 2. But just as surprised to learn he would only be appearing in a small role—and that there was going to be no sequel. Instead, we’re getting a prequel about Maverick’s days as an instructor at Top Gun (the U.S. Navy’s Fighter Weapons School). That got me thinking about how useful it would be for my business if I could find an affordable fabric shelter modeled after one of those featured in Top Gun. And luckily for me, that’s exactly what Big Top Manufacturing has done!”

Go see the new Top Gun: Maverick!!!
