Fabric Structures for Mining and Mineral Exploration

Big Top fabric building solutions can be used for nearly any purpose in the mining industry, whether erected at a company headquarters or deployed in the field. But when it comes to exploration, our portable fabric buildings are easily deployed in remote locations, and are helpful when used as staging facilities, maintenance shops and drilling shelters.

While many clients use our fabric structures as semi-permanent buildings, they are completely portable and can be relocated in pieces or as single units. The backbone of the structure is a lightweight, galvanized steel frame that is virtually maintenance free and can be erected on nearly any type of surface.

Once the frame is erected, it is covered with durable PVC fabric in a choice of weights to meet your needs and requirements. This fabric can be either opaque or translucent.  Our translucent option reduces the need for lights and helps to control the interior temperature.

Erecting a Big Top fabric structure is quick and simple. Many of our clients elect to erect our structures themselves. However, we do offer installation support if needed.When the shelter is no longer needed, it can easily be disassembled and put into storage.
