Moonlight III Superyacht
length 56ft, width 200ft x Height 56ft

Dubai, UAE
This structure was installed at the Dubai Ship docking yard for refit of the Superyacht Moonlight III. The owner completed construction of the shelter in early April 2003. The shelter will provide the ideal environment for shipyard personnel as it will be air conditioned and provide necessary lighting for 24hour usage. This building will perform protective duty during the next 12 months after which it might be relocated to a yard in Abu Dhabi for continued operation. This structure replaces the old method of shrink wrap on scaffolding which is a one-time use and discard. Shrink wrap does not allow for reuse and delays the project during its construction. Shrink wrap is also unreliable in high wind and sand. Our PVC membrane is tear resistant and creates a better overall working environment. Fully retractable ends allow access for the Superyacht. Call us today and replace your expensive shrink wrap with a better solution.

Florida Marine

Florida Marine
The Florida Marine structure was custom designed for the largest luxury yachts. This shelter contains a 200 ton Marine translift, and is equipped with a fully-removable access end. This translucent shelter was designed to allow natural light in for proper lighting during sandblasting of yachts and to protect yachts and refit crew from the weather during refit.

Matson

Port St Joe

Big Top client, Matson Navigation, requested two large shelters to be installed on their cargo transport ships The Greatland and Lurline. The Greatland structure was an 18,400 sq ft. structure and the Lurline was 21,000 sq ft. Both were used to dock large car transport ships. The shelters were custom designed to protect cars from the ships' exhaust acid as well as withstand high wind speeds. Although used to transport cars to and from Hawaii, the installation took place in China. Project was completed with accelerated lead time -- project was completed within six weeks of order.

Big Top installed a wet slip configuration for Port St Joe with its 68 boat shelters.
