This
shelter covers the dining and recreation area on a berthing
barge that is home to 100+ sailors. Over half of the shelters
we sell are designed for custom applications with custom
sizes. We can fabricate shelters to fit existing decks
and work around existing obstructions. We work from .dgn
or .dxf CAD files and can import almost any CAD format.
If you do not have CAD, simply sketch your site, and fax
it to us at 850-584-7713. We have even built shelters
from drawings on napkins……From concept to reality, we
have the solution for your containment needs.

Our
client had a need for temporary (several years) hangar
space to perform maintenance duties on the F-16 strike
fighters. The shelter was installed by military personnel
with the technical assistance from one Big Top representative.
The installation was substantially completed in 4 working
days. The structure was installed on an existing concrete
pad with no site preparation. The front door is electrically
operated with the measurement of 40ft wide x 20ft tall.

| This
relocatable hangar was designed to protect Apache and
CH60 rotorwing aircraft along with their maintenance personnel,
from harsh weather and intense sunlight. Our structures
reduce temperatures on aircraft equipment up to 40 degrees
Fahrenheit. This building was outfitted with 2ea. 90 feet
wide x 20 feet tall winch up doors. The end panels were
fabricated from a mesh material that helps to naturally
ventilate the structure. This project was installed in
7 working days without the use of a crane or any high
reach equipment. |

This
structure was one of many units deployed during operation
Enduring Freedom. The hangar is designed to enclose sensitive
aircraft and personnel from intense heat and dust. This
structure is cooled by a 60 ton chiller and maintains
low relative humidity. One end is accessed by a 120ft
wide x 16ft clear winch door. The rear end is fixed and
outfitted with equipment and personnel doors. This building
was deployed to the site within 7 days of the receipt
of order. The structure was fully operational within 20
days ARO. Field technicians are available to support installations
worldwide. |

Top Sunshades and weather protection hangars are the standard
for flight line aircraft. Individual hangars are positioned
so that pilots can perform "start up-n-go" operation.
In addition, maintenance personnel are completely shaded
which increases morale and helps with job function. These
three sunshades were originally constructed at the Ogden,
UT facility and relocated after the 2002 Olympics. The
ability to relocate our structures offers our clients
complete flexibility to configure and reconfigure our
products. Dimensions: 78ft wide x 80ft long x 34ft center
height. |

Big Top was approached by the Navy to provide enclosures
for the maintenance of the #2 Catapult on the USS Kennedy.
Our solution consisted of 25 crane-liftable segments that
were installed end-to-end to fully enclose the catapult
system on the Kennedy. Workers can still access all points
along the project by moving an individual segment with
the crane. The entire system was shipped on two 48ft flatbeds.
After this project the system will be relocated to Norfolk
for a project scheduled in 2004. Dimensions: 19'7x30x16x12sw.

Vehicle inspection shelters/canopies are temporary solutions
to heightened base security. These structures will be
used until permanent facilities are completed. Recently,
we have installed these shelters with electrical lighting
and lightning protection systems. These systems allow
the inspection process to continue daylight or dark during
inclement weather. Dimensions: 33x30x20x15sw.

Lightning
protection kits are available for all military
post protection sheds. Force protection will often specify
grounding or lightning protection is included with the
assembly. The entire security patrol booth can be covered
with multilane models or one area for inspection can be
installed adjacent to main traffic lanes. These shelters
can be rapidly installed and deployed to remote locations.
Most inspection shelters can be installed in less than
one day per gate or post. Traffic can be diverted to other
lanes or gates during the assembly period which minimizes
disruption to guards marshal or military police. Some
of these structures have been used for actual guard shacks
and posts. In addition, X-ray equipment can be enclosed
at port authority facilities.
