The many different types of marine shelters which Big Top can produce for your needs are as follows

Fixed Vessel/Fixed Shelter
Many marine yards use our structures for a temporary solution for their needs. If you are faced with a one-time situation where a boat will not fit within your current facility this may be the option for you. Simply place the boat in its location and erect the shelter over it. When you are finished with the vessel, disassemble and store the shelter or sell it.

Fixed Shelter/Mobile Vessel

This category utilizes some of our largest structures for permanent installations. Widths typically range from 50 ft. - 70 ft. and include heights from 50 ft. - 60 ft. for individual units. These structures typically include a solid rear end wall and a large access door in the front end wall (the door must accommodate the traveling lift). The exterior membranes are typically 24 oz. translucent white vinyl. This material creates a warm glow during daylight hours within the structure and minimizes the need for additional electrical and lighting.

Fixed Vessel/Mobile Shelter

Once the vessel is placed in its location the shelter is then moved into place to enclose it. These shelters normally cover boats from 30 ft. to 80 ft. Typical sizes are 30-40 ft. tall.

These structures can be moved via crane and/or wheels. Once these structures are placed they are temporarily or permanently anchored to dirt, asphalt, or concrete foundations. When the job is complete the structure can be relocated to a new position and re-anchored. This size/type of structure is the most flexible on the market.
